CSI ***/CSIYH* «VENTA CUP» 2014
On July 11-13 an outstanding event will take place in Saint-Petersburg – CSI*** /CSIYH * VENTA CUP Show Jumping International Competitions will be held on the territory of Venta Arena Olympic equestrian Park for the first time. Show Jumping is the most spectacular and dynamic discipline in equestrian sport. In terms of its organization complexity, it is a unique sports and entertainment event devoted to horses! Venta Club was established in 2006 within the framework of Leningrad Region Governor’s Cup International Competitions. Today it is a stand-alone tournament with an intensive program, which includes competitions among professionals and young horse riders.
Leading Russian and foreign riders will compete for Longines* rating points. Longines rating is one of the main criteria for the Olympic Games selection. Four!!! Longines Competitions will be held during the tournament. Apart from Venta Cup, Saint-Petersburg Channel Cup will be played.
The Competition are included in the Unified Calendar Schedule of the Russian Federation, the Calendar Schedule of Sports Events of Physical Training and Sports Committee for 2014, contests schedules of International and National equestrian Federations.
TALLIN HORSE SHOW Organizational Committee, together with Saint-Petersburg equestrian Federation representatives, are in charge of the competitions
Ground Jury includes skilled specialists of the international and Russian levels: leading Judges from Germany, Latvia, Estonia, Poland and Russia.
The Event Management and Organization Committee, headed by the President of Saint-Petersburg equestrian Federation, give the issues of tournament organization serious consideration and, therefore, they choose Venta Arena Olympic equestrian Park as a venue. Venta Arena is a developing equestrian complex, which already meets the upgraded standards and requirements of international regulations and contest rules.
