Nowadays we are living in the world where everybody is for himself, and everyone have to fight for surviving, but is it the main reason for delinquency?

According to statistical examination made by University of Saint-Petersburg in 2011, it was mentioned that the younger generation is now in, so-called, the point of bifurcation. It means the point of endless choice between right and wrong. Mind of youngster is divided into 2 parts. One - is influence of parents, friends, and another one is a part of media world, environment which want to get the leading positions in making decisions of yours, proclaiming “Be free”, “Don’t brake”, “The world is yours”, “No edges” and so on.

I suppose there are many factors which take influence on committing crimes, but the most serious is family, media world and environment. These factors can stop you doing something bad or even push you and not in all cases you can overcome it, only if you have certain aims and core inside you.

Family whole your life puts in you knowledge, edge of behavior and there is only your choice how to behave yourself and which direction choose. On the other side, there is media world which try to arouse your bad instincts. And you try to choose between your upbringing and slogans like “The world is yours”. Environment also has an impact on your motives, because if youngster lives in area which propagandizes delinquency it will be essential point to conquer it. It could be inside his sub consciousness.

The main problem is how to prevent delinquent behavior. Because the development of delinquency in youth is influenced by numerous factors, prevention efforts need to be comprehensive in scope. Prevention services may include activities such as substance abuse education and treatment, family counseling, parenting education, educational support, and youth sheltering. In my view the most effective is communication with parents who always on your side, better understand surrounding world and can protect you from making mistakes.

In conclusion, young people quite often live with the idea of understanding the right and wrong and they need help, but unfortunately parents are too busy sometimes for talking and directing their children to the right way. That could be the cause of delinquent behavior which we should try to solve.
