1. Only MasterЎЇs degree and DoctorЎЇs degree candidates are eligible to apply directly to ZSTU.

2. Applicants must not be students in Chinese universities at the time of application (or at least one year after graduation in China).

MasterЎЇs and Doctoral degree candidates

— MasterЎЇs degree candidates: at least hold a bachelorЎЇs degree;

— Doctoral degree candidates: at least hold a masterЎЇs degree;

— Have a competitive academic record in undergraduate or graduate education;

— Two letters of recommendation by professors or associate

professors from universities candidates graduate;

— Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 4 (for those

who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)

— Under the age of 35 for MasterЎЇs candidates and 40 for doctoral candidates for Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarships

—Non-Chinese citizens

 

—Abide by the laws, regulations and rules of the PeopleЎЇs Republic of China and ZSTU

 

—Have a good reputation, respect teachers and fellow students

 

—Both physically and mentally healthy

 

—NOT win any other scholarships in China

BachelorЎЇs degree candidates

— At least hold a high school diploma, and have a competitive academic record in high school or undergraduate education

— Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 4 (for those who apply for the programs instructed in Chinese language)

— Under the age of 30 if applying for Zhejiang Provincial Government Scholarship

Non-degree Candidates

— Have a competitive academic record

— Have a valid HSK certificate at or above Band 4 (for candidates for non-Chinese language programs and instructed in Chinese)

— Actively participated in the university activities and other activities organized by the competent authorities; had great cooperative spirit and sense of team-work in the activities.
