DNA combinations:
· You may combine two digimons to one at DNA laboratories.
· After DNA combination, level of digimon will be decreased (in some proportions).
· When digimon combine, all learnable attacks will go to eventual digimon (special attacks cannot be learned by other digimons).
Note: Each attack digimon may use only at appropriate level of evolution, for example Greymon may use learnable attacks of Garurumon but cannot use attacks of Agumon.
· There are 2 types of DNA combination: normal combination or combination with DNA domination of one of digimons.
1) Normal combination: two digimons are combining to one, and new digimon may come out as result. Player may choose by one of acquired evolution line of both digimons, and it should be consecutive. In development digimon may transform to all of its individual evolution forms in any case, and also may transform to both chosen donor DNA lines of evolution, but only to such level of evolution, that was acquired on the moment of DNA combination, that means digimon won’t develop further inheritable evolution lines then they were at the moment of combination (still you may get complete line if digimon acquired it to moment of combination).
If you combining digimons that were previously combined, it will be same as usual, you may get new digimon which will get own evolution forms, but also you should choose two DNA evolution lines of donor digimons and they could be even not their individual forms but inherited before.
Example:
On this table shown DNA combination on fully developed Agumon with combined before Gabumon, development of which have not reached complete, as its donor digimons before. As it shown on the table player may choose one of 7 consecutive evolution lies of Agumon, and one of 3 Gabumon’s. Just as example 5th evolution line of Agumon and 1st evolution line of Gabumon have been chosen. We may get Biyomon. Its level much lesser than its donors, for example at current level it may digivolve just to champion forms. So this Biyomon may evolve to Birdramon, Greymon or Gatomon in battle. In further development it may obtain all individual evolution forms and 2 inherited consecutive DNA evolution line forms until donor digimon was developed. So on ultimate evolution level Biyomon may evolve to Garudamon and Greymon but it cannot digivolve to Angewomon cause Donor digimon have not been developed that far, and it relate not Gabumon but to its donor Salamon which was developed only to Gatomon form at the time of DNA combiatin.
2) Combination with DNA domination: Player may choose dinimon, DNA of which will dominate in combination process and player gets dominated digimon as a result. I that case digimon may evolve to all individual forms of evolution and develop them, but also one consecutive evolution lines of other digimon will be added, player should choose exactly which one. It is useful if player wants to save current digimon rookie form and it’s individual forms of evolution and may even save one of inherited lines of digivolve. If digimon was combined before, and it has 2 donor evolution lines, player have to choose which line will be replaced by new. This is for sure. As result player also gets digimon with its individual forms of evolution, and 1(if first time), 2 donor evolution lines.
· There is DNA history of digimon in status menu. There is shown how many DNA codes of each digiomon including evolution forms it has.
· When digimon evolves to some individual form at first time, digimon will get its 1 DNA but it refers only to individual evolution forms. To higher DNA number digimon have to be combined with other digimon wich has same DNA. Numbers of DNA are adding. Even if digimon have no some form in list at current time, DNA numbers of it will be at the DNA history.
· If digimon gets 20(number may differ) DNA of some some digimon, it can transform to Giant form (of course if current digimon has such form).
· If conditions of some individual form of evolution were completed before DNA combination (digimon has at least one its DNA code), digimon don’t have to complete that conditions again, it just will get form on accordant level.
Example: to transform to Omnimon Agumon/Gabumon needs at least 1 DNA of both WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. It is not necessary to combine Agumon (WarGreymon) with Gabumon (MetalGarurumon) directly, it is enough to be Agumon/Gabumon and have DNA of them, or to have DNA of Omnimon which is already have both DNA. So for example if we combine Gabumon with Biyomon and get Agumon, it dotn’t have to be combined with Gabumon of high level to become Omnimon in Further if it has MetalGarurumon’s/Omnimon’s DNA code.
· After DNA combination some stats may increase in tiny % mostly or even only to HP and MP (it is so not to ruin gameplay, turning fight in one hit win).
Note: player may complete whole game without DNA combination (except some missions where it is necessary). In any case digimons won’t stop in development (as it was in Digimon World 2).
All remaining data will make a new digiegg that will fly to skies, so that means that digimons don’t die of DNA combination (that is just for plot).
