The reason it is so challenging is because this decision will stay with you for a long time and it takes a lot of work to prepare for any career. This choice needs to be made in the first year or two of college if you choose to attend or in your early twenties for most people. Aptitude tests tell you whether or not you are capable mentally and possibly physically of performing a job. You can take an aptitude test to test your knowledge of the career field that you are thinking about choosing. Employers might ask you to take an aptitude test before they hire you for a specific job, which is another reason it is important to learn and prepare for a career that you want to pursue.
