A dental hygienist from Marina Dental Clinic is offering oral hygiene tips to help people make sure they are kissable in time for Valentine’s Day.
According to the UAE Dental Association two thirds of people list bad breath as their biggest turn off in a potential partner. Yet bad breath is a common problem. Dr. Zaghari, a dental hygienist at Marina Dental Clinic in Dubai, said bad breath is common but it often very to treat.
Dr. Zaghari added that many people are worried and embarrassed about having bad breath, but it shouldn’t be anything to be ashamed of. A quick visit to the dental hygienist is often the solution.
In most cases bad breath is linked to a build-up of bacteria in the mouth. When you eat the bacteria feed on the food debris and this causes them to release unpleasant smelling gases in the mouth.
Dr. Zaghari said with Valentine’s Day looming that now is the perfect time to see your dentist or dental hygienist for a check-up or cleaning treatment.
