Objectives

Currently there is no medicine for mutated influenza virus (type A). That’s why it’s synthesis is actual. The 11-pentacyclo[5.4.0.0^2,6.0^3,10.0^5,9]undecanamine showed the most potent inhibition against the M2 channel of this virus. The same activities is shown by the same alcohol (not clear). Therefore it is important to obtain the derivatives of 4- and 11- C _s-thrishomocubane and test it’s antiflu activity.

Research Goals

Methods of preparation 4- and 11- C _s-thrishomocubane derivatives will be developed. What kind of methods? What is the problem to be solved? Stereoselectivity? These derivatives will be tested as potential antiviral medication.

Expected Results

The method (only one?) and condition (only one?) 4- and 11- C _s-thrishomocubane derivatives will be obtain in results. What we will have as a result? Which king of derivatives
