Position summary

Deutsche Bank enforces UX team in Saint-Petersburg and is looking for strong UX expert. Autobahn team produces world class e-trading applications, which implies high-end UX. The great example of the latter is AutobahnFX (world #1 platform in electronic FX trading), which faces external clients and thus has severe requirements for the final product. Key challenging requirements are high quality, short time to market and solid superior UX. In order to meet these requirements the UI Framework team of top-notch developers produces re-usable components in collaboration with team of UX professionals. These components guarantee consistent look and feel, connectivity to a server side, integration with Autobahn ecosystem and a standard deployment mechanism.

Apart of application offering for external clients the bank has a great need in UI applications for internal clients (e.g. sales, traders, analytics etc). The applications have more relaxed requirements for UX, though high quality and short time to market are vital for the business. A UI framework for the internal applications addresses these problems by set of common building blocks for rapid business functionality development, unified UX and standard infrastructure environment.

A successful candidate will join the team and will have the following duties and responsibilities.

Duties and areas of responsibilities

· Create innovative user interface designs for new features/products and improvements

· Develop detailed storyboards, interaction workflows, wireframes, and mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

· Take part in requirements gathering and user research, including usability studies and market analysis

· Articulate the strategy behind your work and why you have made certain design decisions

· Work closely with the PMs, BAs and developers to define and implement features for outstanding user experience

Required background and experience

· At least 3 years experience in UX design for desktop applications (less if you are flat out awesome)

· A strong portfolio showcasing excellent UI/UX design skills

· Outstanding conceptual design skills with experience creating storyboards, workflows, wireframes, and mockups

· Experience running usability studies and market analysis is a plus

· A strong sense of visual design, including a solid grasp of desktop app design and usability principles

· Highly proficient in UI design/prototyping tools

· Worked in, or are familiar with, agile and scrum

· Excellent communication skills, full proficiency English
