LUKE 3:16:

John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:

MATTHEW 20:20-23: Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

21- And he said unto her, What wilt thou She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

22- But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask, Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

23- And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

1 PETER 4:12-17: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

13- But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

14- If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

15- But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men’s matters.

16- Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

17- For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

1 CORINTHIANS 3:13: Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

1 PETER 1:5-7: Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

6- Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

7- That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

14- That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15- But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

JUDE 1:3-5: Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

4- For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

5- I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

JAMES 4:17: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
