It was the fifth semester of my studying English. And I have to say that I feel my progress.

In this semester we were studying the modal verbs. I liked this activity because it was useful and informative. We have done many exercises and tests. Wrote the several compositions using modal verbs. I even tried to write my report about philosopher Thomas Hobbes with the modal verbs!

To compare with the previous year I know more about modal verb and now when I write my compositions I feel that it is easier for me. Moreover during this semester we made presentation about traveling, sang songs (some of them were very stupid J), read interesting texts about culture, translated sentences from the methodic book, improved our phonetic skills and recorded our voices with the right pronunciation.

The most interesting activity for me as usual was the presentation. I like this activity because it is a good way to display your personality. Besides this I liked our semester test! It was very creative.

But I felt uncomfortable when we sang Ireland song and when I have to do the vast volume of my home work!

I think that the teaching style of Elena Eduardovna is interesting and impressive. She always try to make our English classes more attractive and she suggests different entertaining activities. She polite and patient to us. And when we advance our ideas she considers it.

I can suggest only one point which maybe not so interesting but as for me I think it will be very useful for all group. I say about our preparing to summer exam. We have to do this with her help and this aspect can’t be missed.
