I'm not a professional photographer. But I am fond of photography during several years. Now I can say that many people buy expensive photo camera, but use only 10% of it's opportunities. When I see a man with a professional camera and huge lens, I remember phrase: people buy things they don't need with money they do not have, to impress people they even do not know.

Ok, you can ask me: what is the problem? If they have money, they can buy everything they want! But imagine, that such man buys food on 1000$. And then he eats only a 10% of this food and throws out the rest. It is unreasonable? I think, yes.

Ok, you can say: but why are you sure that this people don't use all functions of their cameras? And I will answer: because I know how to get photo, and they - do not know.

When I decided to try photography, I bought a simple digital camera with several manual options. I read a ton of literature and guides, I made hundreds and thousands of pictures. Portraits, landscapes, micro, macro and others. I used this camera two years, not every day, even not every week, but I tried to take it in all my travels, walks and trips.

When I understood that I like a photography and I know how to get a good photo, I've bought a professional camera. But it was second-hand and one of the cheapest cameras in the category. And I also have read tons of guides to know how to use this camera too.

I remember a very bright episode. I and my wife in Paris, near the Elfie tower. One couple asked me to photograph them. I spent several second to prepare, and press the button one time. The lady exclaim: don't worry, this camera can hold a thousands of images, you can make more photos. I gave a camera back and lady saw the photo. She said: it's perfect, thank you very much!

I have saw very many people with professional cameras. They always use auto photo option, they don't know the rule of exposition, and they can use a simple digital camera or even their mobile phone to make photo and get the same result.

Please, don't buy professional cameras, if you don't know how to use it. Don't be the men, who buys things that he doesn't need with money he doesn't have, to impress people he even doesn't know.
