1. Give all the possible definitions of a tank. Use the following lexical items:

3. Tell about the history of tanks and etymology of the word “tank”.

4. Name the constituent parts of a tank and tell about their functions where possible, and give their descriptions.

5. What do you know about a power plant and a final driver?

6. What can you say about the internal combustion engine? Don’t forget to name the following aspects:

- the definition of the IC engine;

- its constituents;

- engine system types.

7. Discuss in pairs the peculiarities of the armored carriers.
