I surrender………. I surrender Jesus to you. I declare that I am nothing without you. I am a miserable living thing that cannot function on its own. I tried to be on my own, I really did but I failed over and over again. And only when I stood on my knees before you asking for help only then I was able to get up and walk again.

You gave me strength, you gave me hope. You gave me happiness and thirst for life. Thank you Lord for loving me. I see your love everywhere I turn, in the eyes of my parents, in the laughter of my brother and sisters. Thank you for being merciful to me. Everyday there was something that could have killed me or disrupted my life but you carried me away from all troubles and never left me alone.

I surrender Lord, I declare to live my life according to your word. I will not leave your path; I will walk and not be weary. I depend on you Lord. Thank you for opening my eyes today and shaking my existence. I know that if you wouldn’t have been there, there would have been pain and tears. My life or the other person’s life would have been disrupted. Thank you for being merciful. Thank you for opening my eyes. I shall now see as I declare to be truly and fully yours- a child of God.
