Inspiring influence of music

Everybody knows that music plays a big role in our life. Can you think of a day without it? We hear music everywhere: in the street in shops, in parks and at home. Music follows us from childhood and we can't live without it. We listen to music when we are happy or sad, we dance to it and we learn to play music, too.

Music is not a combination of sounds; it is a real art, one of the most powerful things in our life. So music is really helpful.

How music helps people and affects its condition?

At first let’s talk about its influence on work and creativity. Can music help man to concentrate? Yes and no! Generally, the best thing for concentration is silence, but it is not for all people. However, some people in the process of work need in a certain background for reflection and decision-making. The sound of music helps them not only to focus, but also improve mental performance. Many teens can’t do their homework without music, it is dull and makes us unhappy, that can’t be the most exciting way of making your work. For example, I like to hear music and prefer some classic music or soundtracks.

Not so long ago in 2005 British scientists found out that listening to music helps athletes in their training, it helps to improve their results on 20 percents. It turns out that the effect of music on the human mind is like doping. But this doping can’t do harm to human health but conversely stimulates it.

How music affects a person's mood?

The way the music helps person to cope with difficult life situations hardly comparable to any other external factors. Music can create and maintain the right mood. On one hand It helps to relax, on the other hand can give you energy.

In the morning, it is better to listen to a cheerful and upbeat music, it will help to wake up and make you jump off the bed with a desire to change their lives for the better.

Quiet and smooth music will help you relax, escape from everyday life, reduce the number of thoughts in the head and focus on self-regulation. Slow and relaxing music affects man as a sleeping pill.

The impact of music on people, depending on the styles and trends

Whatever mood you want to set with the music, it is important to choose the songs and tunes that you like and that will careless your ears. As for the styles of music, it is not so easy. On the one hand, people should listen to the music that they like, on other hand, scientists’ research say that the various aspects of music can influence the physical and emotional state of a person in different ways.

The most comprehensive impact on the person is provided by classical music. Scientists attribute classical works just magic effect. A great variety of conversations revolve around the works of recognized geniuses as Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Grieg, Debussy and Schumann. It is believed that Mozart's music facilitates the rapid assimilation of information and impact on mental performance. Beethoven compositions can help you to fill better. Vivaldi’s Seasons develop our mind and memory.

In contrast to classical music doctors do not recommend listening to the groups playing in the style of rap, hard rock and heavy metal. They say that this music destroys our nervous system and causes aggression. For example, Merilin Menson is a very strange group for me. They have very unpleasant image and play very hard for understanding songs and very aggressive style of singing. Such music destroys my attitude to this genre of music.

As for other genres: blues, jazz, and reggae can get you out of the depression, the music of pop can give someone a great variety of pleasant or unpleasant emotions, melodic rock and heavy rock help to relax and to enjoy beautiful texts.

Influence of music on human health

First scientific explanation of the influence of music on human health has sounded from the lips of the ancient Greek scientist and philosopher Pythagoras. He cured many mental and physical illnesses, with especially composed songs. Every morning, he began with the singing, he said it helped him to bring the activity to the daily life and make his mind free from the dream. In the evening, he sang the songs in order to calm the nerves and tune in to stay.



Over the past decade, hundreds of experiments have been made, written numerous scientific papers. This is some of them:

· Music reduces pain. It helps to reduce alarm and diminish pain threshold.

· Music lessons train your memory and mental abilities of children. The observations of China scientists showed that without any special exercises for memory, human memory improved in proportion of time he studied music in childhood.

· Melodies help recovery after heart surgery. Listening to joyful and cheerful music brings us positive emotions and good mood, which is recommended for prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

· Scientists have found that the sounds coming from the different times and to a certain pitch are able to kill disease-causing germs. Today it is known that the activity of microbes in the human body decreases by 40% after long time of listening to music or the church bells ringing.

· Music prevent hearing loss

In conclusion, I’d like to say that used in right way, music can be greatly beneficial to anyone. I can confidently say that music influence on people is really fantastic, without music our life will be dull and monotonous, music make us cope with difficult situations of life.
