REPORT ON YOGA THERAPY.

 

INTRODUCTION

This report investigates yoga as kind of therapy for some hard diseases and considers its effectiveness.

The report gathered information from the following sources:

FACTS AND FINDINGS

1) Yoga was developed in ancient India as one of six orthodox schools of Hindu philosophy. Dean Ornish, a follower of Swami Satchidananda, connected yoga to heart health, legitimizing yoga as a purely physical system of health exercises in the 1980s what caught the attention of western public.

 

2) Long-term yoga practitioners in the United States have reported musculoskeletal and mental health improvements, as well as reduced symptoms of asthma in asthmatics.

 

 

Phase 1: get up in a vertical position, feet slightly apart, hands on hips.

Phase 2: completely relax the muscles of the abdomen, breathe the air and hold the breath. A study found that after seven weeks the group treated with yoga reported significantly less mood disturbance and reduced stress compared to the control group

 

Meditation:

First of all, you need to get off any thoughts from your head. Then do slow deep breath and hold your breath for 5 seconds and breath out, hold breath for 5 seconds. Repeat this for 20 minutes.

 

CONCLUSION

Yoga is a good way for a health prevention but it could be only an auxiliary treatment of diseases.

 

RECOMENDATIONS

1. It is recommended for women to not use yoga in a menstrual time.

2. Do not exercise yoga if you have problems with skeleton system.

3. Use only easy exercises at the beginning.

4. If you have the opportunity to engage with the coach do it.
