You’re welcome to our training ship. I’ll show you round our ship.
To begin with I’d like to tell you about the main characteristics of our ship. She was built in Poland in 1973. Her deadweight is five thousand five hundred tons. Her draught when fully loaded is seven point two meters. The ship is one hundred and two meters long. The ship is twenty-six meters wide. Her top speed is sixteen knots. The ship is named after our professor, a former teacher at the College. The ship has three holds. This means the ship is not only a training one, she carries cargo too. Besides holds for general loads there are two refrigerating holds, a tank for liquid cargo and a locker for special loads. The ship can carry general cargo, grain, timber. So much for our ship.
