Just like a gigantic dragon, the Great Wall winds up and down across deserts, grasslands, mountains and plateaus, stretching approximately 8,851.8 kilometers (5,500 miles) from east to west of China. The Wall ranges from 5 to 8 meters (16–26 ft) in height. The construction period took about 2,000 years from the Warring States Period (476 BC - 221 BC) to Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). With a history of more than 2000 years, some of the sections are now in ruins or have disappeared.

Machu Picchu (from Spanish – "Old Peak") is a 15th-century Inca site located 2,430 metres (7,970 ft) above sea level. Machu Picchu is located on a mountain ridge in Peru, South America. The Grand Canyon is a steep- sided canyon carved by the Colorado River in the US in the state of Arizona. It is the largest canyon in the world. The Egyptian pyramids are ancient pyramid-shaped structures located in Egypt. There are 138 pyramids discovered in Egypt as of 2008. The estimate of the number of workers it took to build the pyramids have a wide range from a few thousand, twenty thousand, and up to 100,000. The most famous Egyptian pyramids are those found at Giza, on the outskirts of Cairo. Several of the Giza pyramids are counted among the largest structures ever built. This complex of ancient monuments includes the three pyramid complexes known as the Great Pyramids, the massive sculpture known as the Great Sphinx, several cemeteries, a workers' village and an industrial complex.
