Instructions for authors

The editorship colleague of the journal Moscow State Regional Institute of Humanities "Vestnik MGOGI" offers you opportunities to publish your article on the following themes:

• Biology
• Medicine
• Physiology
• Chemistry
• Ecology

The papers shall be emailed to [e-mail]. The title of the article, the abstract, keywords and shall be submitted both in English and Russian and sent to the portal address of the redaction or by e-mail to publishing activities management.

Paper shall comprise:

- the abstract: length 4 – 8 rolls; abstract should be in English and Russian at least 5 lines but maximum 8 lines, the abstract should contain the aim of the article, general results and conclusions.

- key words: should be in English and Russian, at least 3 lines but maximum 5.

- author: the information should be in English and Russian, for each co-author personally.

· author’s full name (with its complete denomination, not abbreviated)

· author’s degree

· author’s work place and his position

· place of studying (graduate student)

· e-mail, his personal phone number, address and postcode. The personal information won’t be published.

- the length of article, maximum 22 pages (author’s page) for professors maximum 11 pages (a half of author’s lists);

- font size 14, Times New Roman, line pitch 1.5, margins 2.5, from each side;

- for pointing out use bold, italic font;

- the author should send the article review and the abstract of the sub department meeting with recommendation or publishing of a present article, certified with the stamp of the institute.

The review:

• must be printed on the blank of the reviewer’s university;
• has the stamp on the reviewer’s university;
• the title of the article, the author’s full name, the topic of the article, its assessment, the reviewer’s signature, with the transcript;
• the presence of the phrase that the article is RECOMMENDED FOR PUBLISHING IS OBLIGATORY.

The articles which are prepared by advanced students will be accepted if they are follow by recommendations of a doctor and correspond to standards.

It is necessary to grant the illustrations (photographs, pictures, schemes, diagrams, maps) in TIF or in JPG format with the resolution not less than 300 DPI and grant them as a separate file.

The vector formats (AI, EPS) are possible. Hyperlinks and pictures should be numbered and commented on the signatures.

The tables are typed the same print as the main text but with the smaller size (body-size 12, reduction to the point 9 is allowed).

Each table is hyperlinked. The word “table” should be typed in the text in abbreviated form and under the table in full. The tables are accompanied by the headlines.

The names of columns of a table are typed with the capital letter, and subordinates – the lower-case

letters.

If the table inserted lengthwise the page it should be inserted with a left floated title side. The headline of the table must be separated from the rest content with line. If digital data is not presented in some columns of the table those column should be marked with dashes.

Do not repeat the title of the table if there is continuation. You should write:"Continuation of the table and its number.

Abbreviations are not permitted in the text, in tables and subscriptions under the pictures (except generally accepted).

Formulas shall be written as a word document (WORD 97 or later versions). It is allowed formulas to hyphen when the sing is “plus” and “minus”, it seldom is “multiplication”. These sings repeat at the beginning and the end of a hyphen. Formulas shall be numbers (using Arabic numerals). The number of formula shall be written in parentheses by right-justified.

Please, provide illustrations, tables and formulas which were not scanned.

The reference list shall be written according to the rules imposed by the State Standard GOST 7.0.5 – 2008 of the Russian Federation. The reference list shall follow in the alphabet order after the article. References to Internet-resources are indicate in the general reference list on the author or the title of the publication with obligatory instructions of the address of a site where this publication is placed and the date of its placement or the date of the last stock-taking of this resource.

References are marked in the text using numerals in square brackets. No more than 15 sources is allowed to use in the article.

Edition reserves the right to refuse the publication on authority the solution of the editorial board of the journal.
