What is your motivation to become the City Representative in your city?

There is none of FLEX-organized events in Donetsk, as well as active alumnies. I consider it to be insufficient, that`s why I would like to bring them together. Also there is a scarcity of FLEX-tour`s PR in our region, so it`s essential to spread a word about it and promote this program among new generation.

Please describe in detail your involvement in the FLEX alumni association.

Well, it`s a first year of me being an alumni, thus there is a short list of activities I took part in: Post Departure Orientation in Kharkiv and my help to FLEX testing this fall.

What do you see as the purpose of alumni activities?

Keeping in touch with the most active and helpful people of our country, developing of well-organized youth community, spreading positive attitude towards American culture, contributing to the society in terms of volunteering movement.

How can the alumni organization attract more active members and older alumni?

By giving reasons, why social activity is so advantageous for one`s future career.

Please make suggestions about new activities for the FLEX alumni organization.

Periodic out-meetings in different cities of Ukraine. Providing FLEXers and young people in the whole with current information about international scholarships. As a local one – making a cheery flash mob with the aim to enliven the citizens and give them a smile.

Describe your computer skills, including any use of databases and web-based activity. Do you have a permanent and stable Internet connection?

Yes, I have an access to Internet, possess basic knowledge of computer programs as Power Point, Microsoft Access and others are. Somewhat of programming in Pascal skills.

Please describe any fundraising experience you have had. What other skills will you bring to this position? What new skills would you like to develop? How would this job help you develop them?

I`ve never dealt with fundraising before, but I`m really eager to put some efforts in it and try. I`m an intern of FRI (Foundation of Regional Initiatives) so I`m currently helping to more experienced members with realizing of their short and long termed projects, that make me involved in HR, PR and managing spheres. I can find right people and motivate them to join me, elicit a creative idea and make others believe in it, give to everyone a specific task, I`m a nice orator and pretty good in debating.
