Description: Bredsjö Culture Cooperative is a non-profit organisation that works in a small village called Bredsjö, in the woods of Bergslagen, Sweden. We are pedagogues and theatre pedagogues that use theatre to make people come together and be influenced by the process. Meeting people, experiencing, culture, empowerment and sustainable development are keywords in our work.

Type of Work: During those two weeks Bredsjö Culture Cooperative is going to show eight times the performance that is called Bergslagens Dance/Bergslagsdansen`. The work duties are to help before and after the performance: sell tickets, prepare sandwiches and coffee that will be sold in café, take care of the audience, cook food for the ensemble. Apart from that we will work in the garden and renovate a Mission House.

Study Theme: In the free time we will have drama/theatre workshops, enjoy the beautiful nature with lakes and forests, make small trips in the area, enjoy our company and come up with other ideas. You will also have the opportunity to meet the ensemble and see a performance where fantasy, dance, stomp, theatre and music tell the story about live in the Swedish countryside.

Accommodation: Common accommodation on the floor in the station house. We provide mattress and pillows. One shower is available. Bring your own sleeping bag.

Approximate Location: Bredsjö, Bergslagen, middle Sweden

Notes: Not accessible for wheelchairs. Option for vegetarian food. No alcohol and other drugs. Volunteers of all ages welcome.
As the camp was launched very late there might be only a small group of volunteers. Nevertheless the camp will definitely take place!
