TASK C
CUSTOMER
SCENARIO A – CRUISE HOLIDAY
A couple in their 50s would like to book a cruise. They have never been on a cruise before but friends have recommended that they start with a cruise in the Mediterranean or Caribbean. They would like a cruise lasting no longer than TWO weeks.
They have requested a double bed if possible, but are unfamiliar with the type of accommodation available on a cruise and need advice. They are available to travel any time between April and July and would like to depart from a local airport (ie in the London area)
Using a range of package cruise brochures, select a suitable cruise for the customer and justify the reasons for your choice of destination, ship and accommodation offered. Prepare a costing for the customer.
Include details of sources of information, eg brochures, holiday guides and websites used. Where appropriate, include evidence of the cruise ship, itinerary and accommodation type selected. Any fly-cruise selected from a brochure would be considered a package cruise.
