Registration dates for 2013 will be as follows:

Wednesday December 4th to Friday December 20th 2013. The hours are from 9:30 am - 3:30 pm. Please advise families to arrive earlier than 3:30, as we usually have long line ups and doors will be closing at 3:30pm. Families may be asked to return on the following day.

Food gift certificates and toys are distributed on the same day. If a family is unable to attend, they may send someone to register on their behalf. The authorized person must have a note of permission from the family, and all the necessary information required to register.

We please ask that you hand this information out to families or have it posted for them to see. Thank you.

Pease keep in mind:

We DO NOT allow children at registration. There is no stroller access and no exceptions will be made. Infants secured in a snuggly are ok.

We will accommodate disabled people.

We only register FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN that live in VANCOUVER.

PLEASE NOTE: Gift certificates will be distributed as long as funding is available. You can register children up to 18 years of age. A new toy will be given to children 14 and under. Please keep in mind: We DO NOT allow children at registration (infants in a snuggly are ok). We only register FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN that live in VANCOUVER.

Information required for FAMILIES ON ASSISTANCE:

1. Proof of income - Last 2 pay stubs from the Ministry, or a registration form filled out signed and stamped by your worker.

2. Care Cards - Care cards for ALL members of the family.

3. Proof of residency – Proof of your Vancouver address. Please bring one of the following: Phone, cable or hydro bill.

4. 2^nd Piece of I.D. (preferably photo) -Is required for all adults

LOW INCOME WORKING FAMILIES, families on E.I., or families on a student loan income may be eligible for assistance, they must provide:

1. Proof of income – 2 Current pay stubs. If pay is direct deposit, then a bank statement with at least 1 month’s history showing 2 deposits is required

2. Care Cards -Care cards for ALL members of the family

3. Proof of residency – Proof of your Vancouver address. Please bring one of the following: Phone, cable or hydro bill

4. 2^nd Piece of I.D. (preferably photo) -Is required for all adults

5. Child Tax benefit Information -Is required as part as proof of income

6. Proof of Custody – If you are a single parent, guardian or relative with children in your care you must provide supporting documents

7. Proof of separation/divorce – Legal proof of separation/divorce must be provided

8. Immigration information – Official documents from Immigration Canada must be provided

We DO NOT accept income tax forms as proof of income
