About aashayein- Raise a Helping Hand
This project is an initiative of AIESEC in Indore where different nationalities would come together for 6 weeks to create a mini globe of knowledge and diversity for the students and underprivileged Kids AIESEC Indore has been one of the most progressive LC of AIESEC INTERNATIONAL. Aashayein a platform where we Invite Interns from different realities to come together for the cause of Education. Through this project we intend to create an opportunity for people to come forward and involve oneself to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. It’s a Project for the celebration of Education. It’s not just an project that completes in couple of weeks. It’s a step towards literacy. Every child will get quality education very soon. Yes, it’s Possible!
Job Description
Department the intern will be working	Global Community Development program
Job Description1	Research: The intern must research extensively on underprivileged children in India using the internet and books. The intern will visit several underprivileged communities. The intern will learn about their situation through interaction with the community.
Job Description2	Documentation: The intern will record their research in the form of reports
Job Description3	Documentary: The intern will record videos at field trips etc. and produce a documentary (along with the other interns) before leaving for their home country.
Job Description4	Spreading Awareness: The intern will disseminate information among society by the means of discussion groups: formal and informal, Organizing Events and taking active part in concerned activities
Job Description5	giving cultural presentations, Teaching Children basic English explaining health and hygiene living, Teaching Moral values to them to help them find a place in the society.
Job Description6	Participating in various activities of AIESEC Indore
Measurable results expected from the intern	The intern is expected to positively impact underprivileged children and community. They should be aware and informed about general aspects of the children rights and education in particular. The intern will also play a key role in creating material about the education system and child rights. The intern will help sensitize local society about child rights
Preparation required from the intern before arrival	The intern is expected to research on child rights in India.

Other Details of the Working Conditions	To make The experience of Intern Very standardized we have taken some initiatives which are as Delicious and hygienic FOOD and accommodation will be provided.. Apart from that.. 1.Filtered r.o/u.v Water(free) 2. Free sim Card and some balance in the main account of sim card 3.Free electricity 4.Weekly feedback system so that intern can feel comfortable 5. FREE PIKUP FROM AIRPORT 6. trainees and buddy allotment 7.Internet facility FREE 8.FREE goodies and gifts when Intern Leave the country 9. Free Dinner twice a month in Indian Families to give more customized experience to the intern 10.Free reception guide booklet 11.Free Seminars 12. One cultural Visit in traditional village 13. Excursion Tours(paid) in the last week *optional. Also Interns are required to bring their laptops. Interns must also bring a camera- either digital or SLR or video camera
Learning points that the intern might obtain during the internship	The interns will learn about child rights in depth. They will work in groups during the research, documentation and spreading awareness phases. They will learn how to deal with sensitive topics, interact with disadvantaged people and document information
