Guest Relation / Front Office

Job Description1

a. To help and assist the Front Office Manager in organising and running the department b. To be warm, friendly and courteous to guests c. To supervise the reception counter d. To have detailed information regarding arrivals and room requirements e. To check all VIP rooms f. To initiate action on all mail coming into the department

g. To initiate action on all group bookings and block rooms in the reservation register h. To maintain appropriate guest history records i. To greet guests on arrival and provide Hospitality

j. To report on a weekly basis, all views, suggestions/ comments of guests’ met k. To assist guests immediately if they have any problems with the services provided by the Hotel

l. To pay special attention to special requests on rooms, services and complaints of house guests m. To ensure proper compliance with the unit and corporate policies with regard to lobby administratn

n. To render assistance to the front office cashiers and the night auditor o. To keep constant contact with related departments such as housekeeping, engineering, F&B service and others.

Additional information a potential candidate may require for the Internship

There will be 2 shifts of work rotating every 15 days that is to be taken account by the Intern. The Intern has to work on Saturdays and Sundays but they will get a leave i the weekdays. Food like Lunch and Dinner, Breakfast and Tea Will be given by the hotel and it is not deducted from the salary.
