Create an effective production project based on a personal or group vision for communicating with the larger society beyond your classroom.

Premise

Creating a visual form of media requires a number of essential pieces. In this assignment we will focus on two important areas:

1. Understanding the capability of graphic art software

2. Comprehension of the tools available in graphic art software

Requirements

PART 1

Using a digital camera. Any camera will do (e.g., phone, DSLR). Capture the following items.

A classroom (preferably empty)

A Spoon

Your reflection

A garbage can

A Paper Towel Dispenser

A Water Fountain

A Locker

A Bulletin Board

A Clock

Chain Linked Fence

A Blue Binder

The Letter L

A Television

Weight Lifting Equipment

A Trophy

Anything Orange

An Intercom

A Fire Alarm

A Number

A Door Leading outside

PART 2

Ÿ You are to create a collage of the pictures you captured. The best method is to realistically place all photos into the classroom picture you took.

Ÿ Upon completion of capturing your images on Disk, you are to arrange your items in a new File - Dimensions should be 11” x 17” with 180 resolution. Explore different ways of rotating the images, changing the size, adding effects, etc. Use your creativity and imagination!!!!
