Functions list

Engineer of the labor protection and of health and safety:
1. Organizes work on risk assessment from the safety side, coordinates the activities of the working groups on risk assessment, organizes job of informing employees mostly at the plant and additionally in the office environment about the risks and how to prevent injuries in the workplace. Advises managers and employees to identify and assess risks on the basis of regulatory documents.
2. Preparing practical proposals to improve the management system of labor protection in the Company, developing plans for the labor protection for Sales Units, logistics and production.
3. Advises the heads of the departments on preparing feasible plans of labor protection; monitors the timeliness of the plans.
4. Develop proposals on the budget for health and safety; monitors compliance with the budget for health and safety.
5. Organizes the work of safety committees in sales unit, logistics and production together with HR.
6. Coordinates projects in the field of occupational safety in sales unit, logistics and production. Analyze their performance together with HR.
7. Participates in the development of factory’s general instructions, policies, procedures, standards, occupational safety and health standards, including Kazakhstan standards, international practices and recommendations of the Group Danone.
8. Conducts a comparative analysis of the results of the enterprise work in the field of labor protection with results of other companies of the Group Danone, provides the analysis to the management of the Company, developing proposals to improve health and safety performance.
9. Exploring the best national and international experience in the field of occupational safety, ensures the implementation of best practices across the enterprise.
10. Organizes work to conduct internal audits (inspections) of the production area, equipment, sanitary facilities, collaboration tools and personal protective equipment. Determine their compliance with safety requirements and in case of violations that endanger the lives and health of workers or emergency, in due course initiate measures to address the identified risks and inconsistencies.
11. Monitors the timeliness of testing, inspection of lifts, cranes, control equipment, other equipment, as well as the timing of measurement of industrial noise, vibration and air-spheres.
12. Performs requirements of government oversight, interdepartmental and departmental monitoring of existing regulations on labor protection.
13. Takes part in the work of the commission for certification jobs.
14. Controls the accuracy of the applications for overall, special food, protective devices and equipment.
15. Participates in the development and preparation of division’s employee list of the enterprise who working in hazardous conditions and in areas of high risk. Conducting for them timely briefing instructions on labor safety and annual medical examinations of health.
16. Involved in checking the technical condition of equipment, ventilation systems, boilers, cylinders for compressed gases, lifts and control equipment.
17. Conduct the work of systematically identification of unsafe acts and methods of work of employees and initiate necessary corrective measures. Participates in the development and implementation of disciplinary measures for violations of safety rules by employees of the company.
18. Developing measures for the prevention of occupational diseases and accidents at work, to improve working conditions and correct them till the requirements of laws and regulations on labor protection. Oversees implementation of the developed measures.
19. Involved in the investigation of occupational accidents, occupational diseases: exploring the causes, analyze the effectiveness of measures to prevent them. Improving the system of registration and investigation of accidents in the enterprise.
21. Participates in the preparation of documents for the purpose of payments for insurance in case of accidents at work.
22. Manages effective communication of safety programs established by the company, the results of the investigation of accidents, health and safety performance, best practices in the field of labor.
23. Manages the creation and placement of visual information on health and safety in work zones.
24. Conducts training of company employees on safety in accordance with the requirements of health and safety policies established by the company. Developing and improving training programs on safety, disaster relief and emergency situations
25. Conducts introductory briefings on labor protection, safety and health regulations with newly hired, travel, school and college students, who arrived on the job training or practice.
26. Drawing Internal reports on health and safety in the required forms and in appropriate time. Prepares reports on demand enterprise management.
27. Perform other one-off orders of management within his or her official duties.
28. Coordinates the implementation of corrective and preventive actions in the framework of its competence.
