People who are interested can then apply for the job by sending a letter of application and CV (curriculum vitae) containing details of their education and experience.

The letter of application (also called the covering letter) can be as important as the CV in that it often provides the first contacts between candidate and employer. The letter of application contains some information in which you should

- Confirm that you wish to apply and say where you learned about the job.

- Say why you are interested in the position,

- Show that you can contribute to the job by highlighting your most relevant skills and experience,

- Indicate your willingness to attend an interview.

After that the company will draw up a shortlist of candidates, who are invited to attend an interview. Then interview writes an interview assessment and offers (if you suit a company) a second interview - for explaining your duties, salary etc. it means you have a new position.

Interview assessment is part of report that personnel manager wrote after interviewing a candidate for the position.

Besides, when company wishes to employ a person for a important position, it may use headhunters specializing in finding the people for a job and provide the C° with a shortlist of suitable candidates. So a C° could save its time.
