Visiting a museum. Painting.

Visiting a museum. Painting.

1. Which unusual museums do you know?

There are a lot of galleries and museums in Britain.

Some of them are: the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, the Tate Gallery and so on and so forth.

First of all I would like to draw your attention to the National Gallery in London.

It contains one of the richest collections of paintings in the world.

The range of the collection is wide.

It represents all the leading schools of European painting from the 13th to early 20th centuries, for example pictures of Rembrandt, Turner, Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh and other great masters. Another gallery is the National Portrait Gallery where there are oil paintings, water colors, drawings and sculptures

2. The painter who knows his own craft and nothing else will turn out to be a very superficial artist. Do you agree?

3. What are some of the qualities a true artist must possess?

In my opinion a true artist must possess such qualities as: talent, imagination, taste, good world visions. The artist is a way of life. And you can simply be or not to be him.

4. Give information about your favourite museum. Try to give as many details as you can.

Russian.

My favourite museum is the Tretjakov Gallery. It has a rich collection of old Russian Icons from the 11th to the 17th century, many fine examples of Russian paintings from 18th to the early 19th century.

There are more than 80 museums in Moscow, the largest are the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and the State Tretjakov Gallery. The Tretjakov Gallery is a major research, artistic, cultural and educational center.

5. What kind of painting do you prefer? Why?

Realism - It shows exactly how something looks in real life. very popular in France

Leonardo Da Vinci. Realism is the art style most people regard as "real art", where the subject of the painting looks very much like it appears in real life. From a little distance everything looks "real" but up close you'll see it's an illusion created by skillful use of paint, of color and tone. The artist uses perspective to create an illusion of reality, setting the composition and lighting to make the most of the subject.

You can't paint detailed realism and also want to knock off a painting every afternoon unless you're painting a small canvas with something simple like a single apple.

6. What is a self-taught artist?

7. Do you agree with the opinion that life is made much more colourful if you regularly visit art exhibitions?

Yes, I think so because you can more to know about our history, painting styles. Also art creates good mood by beautiful views.
