We are glad to invite you as a cultural partner for the sixth art and culture festival “Art-Labyrinth 2013”, organized by the NGO “Art-Labyrinth”. “Art-Labyrinth” is a non-profit organization that continuously develops an experimental art and culture platform in the Republic of Moldova. The organization brings together young musicians and artists, thereby creating a space to embrace diversity through art and culture.

The summer festival is an annual event, which is held in the midst of nature in some of the most scenic and beautiful places of Moldova. It lasts for 3 days and hosts about 1000 - 1500 people. The festival presents performances by local and international musicians, theatre performances, movie screenings, land-art, handcraft expositions, and numerous workshops and seminars. The festival is not a commercial enterprise; it is organized due to the enthusiasm of a group of people who believe that art and music can bring a human touch and inspiration. Besides that, we are proud to make it with a sense of sustainability; the ecological build of the infrastructure at the festival is made from local materials found directly on the site.

We have just started collaborating with some official representatives and cultural centres, which has been a great help to organize such an event. We believe that the festival will provide inspiration to others as well as ourselves. If the idea of the festival speaks to you, we invite you to support it.

This year we plan to host some ethno, folk, and jazz bands from abroad. Now we are in the process of discussing the possibility to invite two bands: the ”Ida Karlsson Quartet” and “Medi” from Sweden. The overall costs that allow this bands participation at the festival are 3080 euros, which include:

1. travel costs: flight ticket, train tickets- for 7 people – 2130 euros
2. accommodation costs/housing for 2 days in Edinets - 160 euros
3. meal costs – 210 euros
4. honorarium for the artists – 400 + 180 euros

At the moment we can provide 210 Euros, which is enough to cover the costs for meal costs. The rest of the costs need to be covered.
