The school building in picture В is really nice. It looks older and more traditional. It's symmetric and I think it's made of brick.

I would like to study at a school where there are large airy classrooms. There should be Chemistry and Physics laboratories, computer classes and specialized rooms for studying foreign languages. It would be fine to have a swimming pool and a football field in our school, too.

In the school of my dream the teachers are kind and friendly. Pupils use electronic books and notebooks instead of paper textbooks in their studies. There's an Activity Centre with a big sports field, a gym, tennis courts and a swimming pool for pupils and teachers. The school of my dream would be a place where every child would like to be.

I like my school very much. Although we don't have any e-books or notebooks, the lessons are really interesting and the teachers are friendly and helpful. Besides, there is a computer room where pupils have their IT classes.

1) There are a bun and a cup of coffee in picture A. The coffee is black, not white as most Englishmen like it. In picture В we can see a bowl of soup. It's the traditional English pea soup — a thick yellow soup made from dried peas.

Neither of these two pictures shows a typical English breakfast. Traditional or «full English» breakfast consists of eggs, bacon, sausages, toasts, mushrooms and beans with a cup of tea or coffee. But nowadays for most English people a typical breakfast is a bowl of cereals, a slice of toast, orange juice and a cup of coffee.

The English have lunch between 12:30 and 1 o'clock. It usually consists of a sandwich, a packet of crisps, fruit and a drink. Dinner is between 6:30 and 8.00 p.m. The typical English dinner is roast meat and two kinds of vegetables, one of them is usually potatoes, and gravy made from the juice of the roast meat. But today Britons often prefer fish, meat or chicken with rice or pasta as their typical dinner.

4) Ukrainian people like to cook. We practically don't eat junk food. Perhaps the most famous Ukrainian food is salo (pork fat). Sometimes Ukrainians joke: «Salo is our national pride».

1) There are some boys playing football in picture A. The boys are outside. From the picture we can't say exactly if it's a football field or some other open space. In picture В the people are inside. They are in a bar or a cafe. There is a TV broadcasting a football match on the top shelf.

2) In picture A the children are playing football. I think they are not in a football team as they are not wearing football uniform. They are playing for fun. In picture В we can see people having a rest in a cafe. Two of them are watching and discussing the football game which is on at the moment.

Picture A describes a healthy lifestyle. We know that it's good for health to exercise regularly. And playing a game is much better for one's health than watching it, especially on TV. Besides, being outside in the fresh air is healthier than being inside.

The best kind of sport for me is football. I love the passion of football, and it's a very fast game. You have to use quite a lot of skills in order to play properly. Football strengthens the body and energizes the mind. This sport game makes me happy and satisfied.

0 1) In picture A I can see London, the capital of the United Kingdom. There is the most famous building in London in this picture — the Houses of Parliament. Above the Houses of Parliament there is the most famous clock in the world, with its huge bell, Big Ben. Picture В shows Sophia's Cathedral. It is one of the most beautiful churches in Kyiv.

Kyiv is an old city and it's famous for its historical and cultural places of interest. One of the oldest historical monuments is the Golden Gates. This gateway was constructed by Yaroslav the Wise, Prince of Kyiv, in the eleventh century. St Volodymyr's Cathedral is a beautiful cathedral in the centre of Kyiv. St Sophia's Cathedral is an outstanding architectural monument of Kyivan Rus. Today, it is one of the city's best known sights. ' Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra is an ancient monastery in Kyiv. It was founded in 1051 by monks and became an important centre of Orthodox Christianity in Kyivan Rus. Maidan Nezalezhnosti is the main square of Kyiv. It is located on Khreshchatyk Street.

First, the boy in this picture is wearing a cap to protect his head from the hot sun. But he is not wearing a T-shirt. So we can say it's hot and sunny. Then, the boy, is in the countryside, and it's quite usual for people to go to the country in summer.

Last summer I spent a month in a summer camp. In the morning we played volleyball, football, ping-pong or went swimming in the river. After dinner we had a rest and went for a walk in the forest. And in the evening we took part in different contests, shows or concerts. In the camp I met a lot of good friends and got some new skills. I had a really amazing time there!

1) In the pictures we can see some food products. There are some fruit and a bun in picture A. These fruits include apples, grapes, plums, strawberries and a half of a tropical papaya fruit. There is a roasted chicken with some garden stuff in picture B.

For Ukrainians it's more typical to have a big supper. It can be some meat, fish or chicken with potatoes or cereal. So, picture В is more likely to show a typical Ukrainian supper. Supper of fruit shown in picture A is good for those people who are on a diet. Every Ukrainian family has its own breakfast traditions. It can be fried eggs, cereal, sandwiches or pancakes followed by tea or coffee.

Dinner for many Ukrainians is the main meal of the day. For dinner we usually eat soup or borshch, a meat or fish course with pasta or cereal and a salad. It can be followed by a dessert.

4) My family eats various food. Our favourite food is rather
traditional. It can be borshch or noodle soup, cutlets and mashed
potatoes with different kinds of salad followed by a dessert.
Sometimes my mother cooks delicious pancakes. I like them
sweet with sour cream or honey and milk. Chips, pizza or burgers
are definitely not on the regular menu in our family.

The best kind of sport for me is tennis. The game of tennis is very exciting and it's very fast. You have to use quite a lot of skills in order to play properly. Tennis strengthens the body and energizes the mind. This sport makes me happy and satisfied.

In picture В there is a punk girl. She has a funny hairstyle and her look in general is rather extraordinary.

2) The woman in picture A can be a teacher. She looks pleasant and friendly. She is also wearing elegant clothes. The woman in picture В is too eccentric to be a teacher. A good teacher, first of all, must like working with children. As to his or her character, one quality a teacher must have is patience. He or she should never be annoyed with students if they don't understand something. He or she should be able to create an atmosphere where everyone knows they can ask questions, try out new ideas and not being afraid of making mistakes.

I love and respect my teachers very much. In my opinion, our teachers are real professionals. They know their subjects perfectly and always try to support students in their studies. I think the secret of our teachers is in their kind and respectful attitude to the pupils. They are friendly to us, and we feel friendly to them.

1) There's so-called «junk food» in picture A. We can see French fried potatoes, a burger, milk shake and nuggets. This is a usual menu of McDonald's. In picture В we can see some fruit and vegetables. Among the fruit, there are peaches, strawberries and grapes. In the vegetable basket we can see some onions, peas, aubergines, garlic and mushrooms.

Photo В illustrates healthy food. Eating plenty of fruit and vegetables is good for people's health. Junk food in picture A is very harmful. It can even cause different diseases. First, we should choose natural food. Fast food, sweets and cakes are not good for you. Then, eating breakfast is a good start of the day, it feeds your brain and body. It's important to eat products rich in protein. These are meat, fish, eggs, beans, nuts, seeds, peas and cheese. Protein is very important for children whose bodies are growing and changing daily. Fruit and vegetables are the basis of a healthy diet. They have lots of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and fiber.

4) My favourite food is rather traditional. I like borshch and noodle soup, cutlets and mashed potatoes. Like most children, I love sweet courses such as ice cream or chocolates. But my favourite food is pancakes. I like them sweet with sour cream
or honey and milk.

1) Picture A is a mountain resort. We can see a mountain slope covered with snow. There is also a rocky hill right on the opposite side.

Picture В also shows some place in the mountains. But we can also see a lake. Besides, in the first picture it's winter, and in the other one it's summer.

2) In picture A the man is snowboarding. The slope is very steep and dangerous. However, the man is smiling — so he is having fun! There is a family of four in picture В — parents and two children. The parents are sunbathing near the lake. And the children are splashing around in the shallow water.

In picture A it's winter — we can see snow there. And the man is wearing a winter ski suit. In picture В it's summer. We can see that people are wearing only their bathing suits and light clothes, so it's quite hot.

In summer my family likes going to the seaside. We usually go to the Crimea, and spend about a fortnight there. I like swimming, my mum loves sunbathing and my dad enjoys scuba diving. Sometimes we go on excursions to the sights of the Crimea. Once or twice we have gone on a two-hour boat tour.

We usually start looking forward to the next summer holiday in autumn!
