You use superlative adjectives to compare people / things with all the other people / things in their group. We often use a superlative with the present perfect. Mohamed Ali was the greatest sportsman of all time. Football is the most popular sport in the world. Russia is the coldest place we’ve ever been to. It’s the most beautiful church I’ve ever seen.
