THE SECRETS OF SUCCESSFUL PRESENTATION

► preparation

► passion

► Performance

“People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel”. M. Angelou.

IF IT MATTERS TO YOU, IT WILL MATTER TO THEM

PREPARATION. DEALING WITH NERVOUSNESS

“There are two types of people: those that are nervous and those that are liars” M.Twain.

1. Prepare well. ‘Failing to prepare is preparing to fail’. – Learn what you want to say, practise your talk until you feel at home with it.

2. Learn to relax.- Do stretching or breathing exercises. Sit with your back straight, breath in slowly, hold your breath for 5 sec. than exhale.

3. Check the room. – Arrive earlier, walk around the room, make sure everything you need for talk is here.

4. Know your audience. – Greet your audience as they arrive, chat with them.

5. Concentrate on the message. - Try to focus on the message and your audience – not on your own fears.

Visualize success.
