To begin with I'd like to say that choosing a career and getting a job are two of

the most important things every person does in a lifetime. It's not a simple matter to choose a career, because a career chosen by chance or in a hurry can spoil your life or have a strong influence on it. It makes the choice so vitally important. There are three synonyms: an occupation, a profession, and a career. An occupation is an activity which one is engaged in.

A profession is an occupation, for which you need special training or special education. For example: if you want to be a doctor, you must know biology and a chemistry to know how to help a person. A career is an occupation that you have or hope to have for most of your life. There are old and new professions. Old professions have existed for ages, for example: a teacher, a builder, a doctor.

Undoubtedly there are new professions that have appeared as a result of the development of modern technologies and industries: a computer programmer, a manager. I can't but mention that some jobs are more popular than others, because they are very stable (a teacher, a doctor, a lawyer, a dentist) prestigious (a journalist, an architect), fashionable (a manager, a designer, an architect) and highly paid(a manager, a film star, a singer).

Some jobs are traditionally considered to be "men's", for example: scientists, pilots and some "women's", for example: teachers, doctors. There are also several jobs in which both men and women work successfully, and women can cope with many jobs, which have always been men's privileges (drivers, architects, designers).

Of course, it isn't an easy task to make the right choice of a job. It would be j great if the job coincided with the hobby

As I have already mentioned above it is rather complicated to choose one's career, whereas getting a desirable post can be even more challenging.

A job interview is your chance to show an employer what kind of employee he or she will get if you're hired. That is why it is essential to be well prepared for the job interview. Preparing means knowing about the industry, the employer, and yourself. It means paying attention to details like personal appearance, punctuality, and demeanor.

Knowledge is always your best weapon and so you should arm yourself with plenty of it. That starts with the very basic bit of knowledge regarding job interviews. Before you research the industry and the company and even before you practice answering the questions you might be asked, you should have some general information about job interviews.

Another part and parcel of a successful interview is the way you look: your clothes, your hairstyle and even make-up for women,

Even with a casual dress code you need to still appear professional. Avoid revealing necklines, short skirts, very high heels, flimsy material, too tight clothes.

Wearing a formal suit may be inappropriate, try a jacket and pants that are of different material. Reflect a modern yet timeless look.

A casual blazer or belted-jacket with a tailored pair of pants is a good option. Women can also try a knee length skirt with an understated blouse. A smart shift-type dress with a pair of pumps also conveys the message of professionalism.

Cotton, silks and blends are good fabric choices, avoid velvets and shimmery type fabrics. Tailored knits and sweater sets are also appropriate clothes for a more casual look.

Shoes should be understated and practical. High stilettos, platform heels and big chunky shoes are inappropriate. You need to be able to walk comfortably in your shoes to give the impression of being confident and in control.

Men do not need to wear a tie but a collar is essential. Choose a cotton sleeved, buttoned shirt or a golf shirt. Team in with a pair of neat khaki pants or tailored light colored slacks when you know that the environment demands a truly casual look. Your clothes should always be clean and pressed and fit properly. Professional looking, classically casual clothes show that you are taking the interview process seriously and that you are in tune with the company culture.

My ideal job...

This way or another being successful is a realistic aim. It's up to you all along the line.
