Do not ask personal or intimate questions. They like their privacy. Please do not ask questions such as "How much money do you earn?" "How much do you weigh?" or "Why aren't you married?"

Women are usually independent and accustomed to entering public places unaccompanied. It is usual for women to go out and about on their own as well as with friends. Men and women mix freely.

Some British customs and traditions are famous all over the world. Bowler hats, tea and talking about the weather. But what about the others?

From Scotland to Cornwall (England), Britain is, like any other country in the world, full of customs and traditions. A lot of them have very long histories. Some are funny and some are strange. But they are all interesting. There are all the traditions of British sport and music. There is the long menu of traditional British food. There are many royal occasions. There are songs, sayings and superstitions. They are all part of the British way of life.
